Study. Analyze. Write. Publish.

Repeat.

Medwrite’s mission is to collaborate with you

to evaluate, report, and publish your medical evidence expertly and efficiently.

Scientific literature is the neural center of medicine

The literature telegraphs research to physicians around the world, influences patient care, and nourishes the medical marketplace.

For 30 years, Medwrite has collaborated with medical investigators to analyze study data and develop peer-reviewed publications. Our experienced, award-winning research writers, biostatisticians, and medical artists have a dual mission: to work with you to develop rigorous and refined scientific content, and to provide training in the process and techniques of expert research-article writing.

Our international customers are researchers, physicians, and other medical professionals in academic and private settings, device and pharmaceutical corporations, publishers, and government agencies. Please tell us how we can help you.

I would like to personally thank our colleagues at Medwrite once again for your enormous partnership in the analysis and writing of our recent manuscript, and for preparing it so meticulously for publication. I deeply appreciate your invaluable work and skills, without which it would be impossible for me to reach such goals as publishing several manuscripts in so short a period of time and in such scientifically valued journals. I thank you very much for all you have done and look forward to our ongoing work together.- Martin Fried, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Surgery, 1st Medical Faculty, Charles University Prague, Czech Republic Chairman, Board of Trustees International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity & Metabolic Disorders (IFSO)

Field of Special Focus – Metabolic / Bariatric Surgery

Our knowledge of the metabolic/bariatric surgery field and an in-house metabolic surgery library provide a leading edge in research publication and return-on-investment for our colleagues and sponsors. Medwrite-developed peer articles, consensus statements, and abstracts have achieved publication in the core international metabolic surgery and obesity management journals, such as Obesity Surgery (OBSU) and Surgery for Obesity and Related Diseases (SOARD), as well as in prominent general medical and surgical publications, including the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons (J Am Coll Surg).

I’ve had a lot of attempts to lose weight. One of the experiments was weight loss with the help of Phentermine 37.5mg online. I was advised Phentermine at https://phenadip.com. After two weeks I lost almost 8 kg. The weight did not return for a long time.
Medwrite participated in the development of the 2005 American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Consensus Statement; two Elsevier-published textbooks, “Surgical Management of Obesity” and “Buchwald’s Atlas of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgical Techniques and Procedures,” and an illustrated “History of Operative Procedures for the Management of Obesity: 1950–2000.” We collaborated on the preparation of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) CD-RoM and 18-credit postgraduate course, “A Bariatric Surgery Primer”; in the development of a medical manufacturer’s Patient Education Handbook for implantation of a bariatric device; and in one of SOARD’s first journal supplements prepared as a publication follow-on after a symposium at an International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) Congress.

Medwrite has performed the statistical analysis and/or written and/or edited numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in the following areas:

  • Emerging metabolic surgical procedures
  • History of metabolic surgery
  • History of surgery for diabetes management
  • Decision-making algorithms for the selection of metabolic surgical procedures
  • Meta-analyses of the safety and effectiveness of metabolic surgery
  • Mechanisms of weight loss and comorbidity resolution
  • Metabolic surgical technique
  • Unmet needs in obesity management
  • Issues in primary care referral for metabolic surgery
  • Medicare funding for metabolic surgery
  • Quality of life pre- and post-metabolic surgery
